MOVEMENT
Learning for Life
Children enjoy movement. They run, balance, climb, jump and romp around to discover themselves and their environment. Movement is an essential part of holistic child development.
When playing with peers, they measure their strength, explore their own limits, train their ability to cooperate and thereby strengthen their self-confidence. But they also need this playful and sporting activity to train their sense of balance and their dexterity.
In addition, exercise improves endurance and concentration in children. Their brains are better supplied with oxygen and they receive numerous sensory stimuli - for example from other children or from nature. This in turn increases attention.
Movement also creates new nerve cells in the brain, which in turn helps with learning. For example, when children run around while learning vocabulary, they use several senses and can therefore remember the terms better.
